At Design Democracy Hyderabad 2025, Special Exhibitions emerged as immersive anchors within the larger design landscape—spaces where ideas move beyond display to become experiences. From the climate-responsive inquiry of Stone and Shade by Supraja Rao, to the rhythmic, sculptural passage of FLOW by Nuru Karim, these installations challenged how we perceive space, movement, and environment. Each exhibit transformed function into narrative, inviting visitors to engage not just visually, but sensorially and intellectually.
Alongside these, the Precious Objects Gallery by Farah Ahmed offered a contemplative pause—celebrating rarity, craftsmanship, and the emotional value of objects—while the Gallery of Sustainability by Abin Design Studio reframed sustainability as a layered dialogue between material, culture, and responsibility. Together, these four exhibitions encapsulated the spirit of Special Exhibitions at Design Democracy 2025.
