Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in Design Democracy Ventures (“the Program”), an initiative organized by Design Democracy. By participating in the Program, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility Criteria

Participants must be individuals or teams with a demonstrated interest in product design, including but not limited to furniture, lighting, decor objects, furnishings, etc.

Applicants must have between 6 to 18 months of experience in their respective fields.

Design Democracy reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion.

Application Process

Interested applicants must complete the online application form available on the Design Democracy website.

Applications must include a portfolio showcasing previous work and a statement outlining their design philosophy, aspirations, and vision for future projects.

The application deadline and submission requirements will be communicated through official Design Democracy channels.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of experts including architects, interior designers, magazine editors, Design Democracy founders, and potential investors.

Shortlisted applicants may be invited for further interviews or presentations to assess their suitability for the Program.

Design Democracy reserves the right to modify the selection process as deemed necessary.

Program Benefits

Selected participants will receive mentorship from industry veterans and experts affiliated with Design Democracy.

Participants may receive funding to support the development and implementation of their design concepts.

Opportunities for industry exposure through exhibitions, showcases, and networking events organized by Design Democracy.

Other benefits, including PR support, media coverage, and promotion through Design Democracy platforms and partner networks.

Intellectual Property

Participants retain ownership of their intellectual property rights.

Design Democracy may request a non-exclusive license to use participant’s designs for promotional purposes related to the Program.

Confidentiality

Design Democracy respects the confidentiality of participants’ proprietary information and designs.

Participants agree not to disclose confidential information obtained through the Program without prior consent.

Liability

Design Democracy is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Program.

Participants are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their submissions and information provided.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction].
