Some products make an entire space possible, yet they never make it into the photograph. No mood board carries a swatch of adhesive. No design presentation leads with a bonding agent. Yet almost everything in a considered interior depends on it, from the stone countertop to the glass partition to the metal inlay to the fine timber panel, each one chosen with care and expected to hold.
A bond that fails does not just compromise a joint. It can mean an entire surface has to be removed and replaced, along with the labour, time, and cost that went into installing it in the first place. For projects working with natural stone, glass, or fine veneers, that risk is considerable, and it rarely shows up in the initial specification conversation. Bondtite Adhesives makes the products that carry that responsibility, a full range of epoxy, PVA, cyanoacrylate, and acrylic adhesives, along with sprayable solutions, engineered for the substrate combinations that define high-end design work today.
A Different Kind of Inheritance
Bondtite is the flagship adhesive brand of Astral Limited, the Ahmedabad-based building materials company founded by Sandeep Engineer in 1996. Astral first made its name in CPVC piping, becoming the first company in India to introduce the category and later the first to receive National Sanitation Foundation approval for it. Over the decades, the company expanded into water tanks, faucets, sanitaryware, and paints, building a reputation for entering categories and raising the standard within them. Its move into adhesives came in 2014 through the acquisitions of UK-based Seal It Services Ltd and Kanpur-based Resinova Chemie Ltd. Bondtite inherited manufacturing scale from that foundation, and with it a culture of performance-first product development.
