The kitchen has always been the most honest room in a house. It is where material choices get tested daily, where heat, water, bacteria, and time work on every surface without pause. For decades, the industry filled it with materials chosen more for manufacturing convenience than for what they do to the people living around them. MDF, plywood, and standard laminates contain formaldehyde, a compound that off-gasses into indoor air over years of daily use. Wood-based surfaces in humid kitchen environments become hospitable to bacteria, fungi, and termites over time, in ways that are rarely visible until the damage is done.
Magppie Wellness decided to build something different. The Delhi-based brand makes complete kitchen environments, from cabinets and countertops to backsplashes, wardrobes, vanities, flooring, and wall cladding, with every surface built from SilverStone, its proprietary engineered stone. There is no wood anywhere in the system.
