There is a distinct kind of courage in returning to the obvious. In an interior design industry that has spent decades chasing novelty, favouring laminate over lumber, simulation over substance, Hyderabad-based Brown Profiles has staked its identity on a singular conviction: that real wood, handled with genuine care, remains the most compelling thing a wall can wear.
The brand was born from a familiar professional frustration. As interior designers, founders Lokesh and Manish Jangid repeatedly encountered the same dead end: limited, generic sources for high-quality wall panelling. Contemporary architecture was expanding in ambition; the foundational materials available to realise it were shrinking in authenticity. Brown Profiles was founded explicitly to close that gap to serve designers and homeowners searching for wooden surfaces that don’t compromise.
